About Unlink

A calmer, faster, more predictable path through divorce.

Divorce does not have to become a war. Unlink was built for people who want clarity instead of chaos, resolution instead of escalation, and a process that protects families from avoidable conflict.

Unlink brings together Oregon legal practice, engineering discipline, and a low-conflict design philosophy for people who want structure instead of guesswork.

Built on hard-earned experience

Unlink was built by Adam J. Brittle, an Oregon attorney whose path into law began in engineering. He studied electrical engineering at the University of Colorado Boulder and then worked as an engineer at Intel in Hillsboro before moving fully into legal practice.

While attending Lewis & Clark Law School, he worked as a law clerk and gained early exposure to real-world litigation work, legal writing, and client problems that do not fit neatly into one form or one conversation.

After law school, he founded West Valley Law Group and handled criminal defense and civil litigation. He later built a primarily family-law practice through Brittle & Brittle P.C. and Pacific Family Law Firm. Unlink grows out of that same work: bringing more structure, clearer drafting, and less avoidable friction to people trying to resolve an uncontested divorce well.

Built at the intersection of law and engineering

Engineering teaches you to look for failure points, dependencies, and avoidable ambiguity. Family law needs more of that discipline than most people realize. A divorce packet is not just a stack of forms — it is a connected system of decisions about parenting, property, support, disclosure, and procedure.

When those pieces are vague or inconsistent, people pay for it with delay, confusion, and conflict. That is true whether they are dealing with the court, trying to reach workable terms, or simply attempting to understand what belongs in each document.

Traditional legal services can be expensive, and generic online divorce products often leave too much to guesswork. Unlink was built to sit in the middle: a guided, attorney-built workflow that uses systems thinking to help people move through an Oregon uncontested divorce with more clarity and better internal consistency.

The goal is not to make a difficult season feel bigger or more adversarial. The goal is to make it more manageable — clearer decisions, more coherent documents, and a process designed to support resolution instead of escalation.
